The 2198-C2030-ERS Servo Drive is a Kinetix digital servo drive from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It provides a cost-effective motion control solution with its scalable drive design. This module is specifically designed for use with Kinetix rotary motors, linear actuators, and linear motors. The 2198-C2030-ERS Servo Drive has 2 Ethernet ports to communicate with the drive controller. It also has a 4-character display for providing the status of the drive operation and the information about the drive parameters. This drive comes with a scalable drive concept for performing motion control applications in a single device. The 2198-C2030-ERS Servo Drive uses single-phase line filters for providing downstream circuit protection.

The 2198-C2030-ERS Servo Drive has a continuous output current of 19.6 Amps, an internal shunt on/off voltage of 387.5/377.5 Volts, respectively, an internal shunt resistance of 60 Ohms, and an internal shunt power of 50 Watts. It comes with the RCM, KC, OSHA, and CE certifications for industrial standards. This module uses a line reactor when the source transformer value is greater than 75 kVA. The protection class of the 2198-C2030-ERS Servo Drive is IP 20. Its storage temperature range is -35 to 70 degrees Celsius. It comes with dual ports compatible with the ring topology.
