The 2198-C2075-ERS Servo Drive is a Kinetix 5300 series single-axis servo drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It comes with a variety of connectors for effective communication such as motor feedback connectors, digital input and auxiliary feedback connectors, motor power connectors, motor brake connectors, and 2 Ethernet RJ45 connectors. It provides cost-effective motion solutions and scalable drive concepts for delivering high performance. The 2198-C2075-ERS Servo Drive provides the facilities to run complex motion applications in a single device with increased reliability. It accepts a variety of feedback types from both rotary and linear motors to ensure a highly precise motion solution.

The 2198-C2075-ERS Servo Drive has an AC input voltage range of 170 to 253 Volts RMS, an AC input frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz, main AC input current of 36.93 Amps, and peak AC input current of 86.25 Amps. It accepts a variety of feedback encoder types including the Hiperface high-resolution absolute encoder, Nikon high-resolution serial encoder, and Tamagawa high-resolution serial encoder. Bonding is used for connecting the drive components, metal frame, and the enclosure. Thermal memory protection is provided by the 2198-C2075-ERS Drive When selecting an enclosure, make sure to consider the heat dissipation specifications. The enclosure must be located on a rigid and flat vertical surface. It uses shielded and unshielded cables for AC input power. It is recommended to mount the AC line filter on the same panel where the Kinetix 5300 drive is installed. This drive helps to expand the integrated motion facilities on custom and large-scale machine-builder applications.
