The 2198-C4004-ERS Servo Drive is a Kinetix 5300 EtherNet/IP servo drive made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Its drive ratings are compatible with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix TLP servo motors for providing scalable and cost-effective motion solutions. This drive supports the star topology which connects all the drives into just 1 switch. The 2198-C4004-ERS Servo Drive comes with 97% efficiency. Its capacitive energy absorption rating is 8.13 J. The 2198-C4004-ERS Servo Drive comes with 1.24 Amps of main AC input current, 21.6 to 26.4 Volts DC of control power input voltage, 1.6 Amps of continuous output current, and 0.86 kW of continuous output power. It is compatible with the 842E-CM integrated motion encoder for providing external encoder feedback. The control circuitry of the Kinetix 5300 drive uses 24 Volts DC input voltage. The accessories of the 2198-C4004-ERS Servo Drive include a feedback connector kit, a shunt resistor, a 24 Volts shared-bus connection system, and AC line filters. The installation surface of the module should not be subjected to moisture, dust, corrosive vapor, oil mist, vibration, or shocks. The shunt resistor connector is connected to an internal shunt at the factory. External passive shunts are also available for providing additional shunt capacity. This module accepts incremental and high-resolution motion solutions to ensure precision.
