The 2198-C4007-ERS Servo Drive belongs to the Bulletin 2198 line of Kinetix 5300 products manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It supports TTL incremental feedback devices. It also supports parallel input terminals for duplex wiring. This drive is specifically designed to operate with a grounded-wye input power configuration. The 2198-C4007-ERS Servo Drive supports a hardwired safe torque-off function. The safe torque-off connector of the device is used to connect to external safety devices. It is recommended to install the module inside a protected cabinet or control panel while maintaining the safety rating. This drive has internal solid-state motor short-circuit protection. The 2198-C4007-ERS Servo Drive is compatible with the Logix 5000 controller platform and Studio 5000 environment.

The 2198-C4007-ERS Servo Drive has a variety of indicators including module and network status indicators, link speed status indicators, and link/activity status indicators and a 4-character status display.
