The Allen-Bradley 2198-H003-ERS2 Kinetix 5500 servo drive is a high-performance digital servo drive built to provide a cost-effective integrated motion solution over the Ethernet/IP network in a wide range of industrial applications. This drive can be used with the ControlLogix, GuardLogix, and CompactLogix controllers in both stand-alone and multi-axis configuration, and it supports the networked safe torque-off feature over the Ethernet/IP network for applications with demanding safety requirements. The 2198-H003-ERS2 servo drive has 190 to 264 Volts AC RMS single-phase voltage and 190 to 264 Volts AC RMS 3-phase voltage at 47 to 63 Hertz frequency, and an input current rating of 1 Amp (3-phase) and 0.7 Amps (single-phase). This drive has a peak current rating of 3 Amps (3-phase) and 2.1 Amps (single-phase), and a maximum inrush current rating of 15 Amps.

The 2198-H003-ERS2 servo drive has a 24 Volts DC control power voltage rating, and a line-loss ride-through time of 20 milliseconds. The 2198-H003-ERS2 servo drive can implement the integrated safe torque-off safety over the Ethernet/IP network by using the GuardLogix 5570 or the Compact GuardLogix 5370 safety controller.
