The 2198-CAPMOD-DCBUS-IO module is a Kinetix 5700 extension module that has been designed and distributed by Allen-Bradley and included in the accessories catalog for the modules in the Kinetix 5700 product line This accessory can be used with any Kinetix 5700 drive system configuration by using the DC-bus power supplies and the regenerative bus supplies. This specific extension module is meant to be used with an additional accessory module when the external bus current is higher than 104 Amps and can reach a maximum current of 208 Amps during an application. Another application of this accessory is to expand the DC-bus voltage to a different inverter cluster. The Allen-Bradley 2198-CAPMOD-DCBUS-IO Kinetix 5700 extension module comes shipped with parts like a stud/lug cover that includes the wires, hex nuts, spacers, and a 55-millimeter DC bus link. The module also comes shipped with 2 flexible bus bars.
