The 2198-D032-ERS4 drive is a dual-axis inverter power servo drive. It has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a member of the Kinetix 5700 drive series. The 2198-D032-ERS4 servo drive can be used to build a large-scale machine or industrial system that involves multiple axes and that can handle multiple high-powered applications. This drive uses the Ethernet network to connect to and communicate with other devices in the same system. It is designed to be powerful but easy to use and to be compact enough to install easily even in tight spaces. The 2198-D032-ERS4 servo drive supports a “zero stacking” mounting option where it can be mounted directly next to other system components without requiring any space between them for airflow or other reasons, which saves installation space for other devices and allows it to be installed in more types of spaces than larger servo drives. It comes with a mounting tab and a cutout as its mounting hardware.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2198-D032-ERS4 Kinetix 5700 series inverter power servo drive is designed to operate at 4 kilohertz of rated PWM carrier frequency. Its continuous output current rating is 13 Amps for RMS current and 18.3 Amps for 0-pk current. The peak output current ratings supported by the 2198-D032-ERS4 servo drive include 32.5 Amps of peak RMS current and 45.9 Amps of peak 0-pk current. The operating temperature range of the drive is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius or 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit at 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity. The storage temperature range of the 2198-D032-ERS4 servo drive is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius or -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, also with 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity.
