The 2198-S086-ERS4 drive is a servo drive with a single axis that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley in the Kinetix 5700 drive series. Its PWM frequency rating is 4 kilohertz. The 2198-S086-ERS4 single-axis servo drive can be used in complex multi-axis control systems in industrial environments that are clean, non-hazardous, and that do not experience significant levels of moisture or condensation. This drive can tolerate relative humidity levels of up to 95% without condensation in both operation and storage. It operates at temperatures between 32 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit and it can be stored or transported at temperatures between -40 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2198-S086-ERS4 single-axis servo drive comes with mounting tabs and a cutout for easy mounting and with cooling fans that help it regulate its temperature.

The Allen-Bradley 2198-S086-ERS4 Kinetix 5700 series single-axis servo drive communicates with other devices through the Ethernet network and it comes with 2 Ethernet RJ45 ports for making its Ethernet connections.
