The 2198-S130-ERS3 is a Kinetix 5700 Digital Servo Drive. This servo motor controller mainly features 240V /480 V nominal supply voltage; output power of 22.5 kW @ 240 V input and 44.9 kW at 480 V input. The servo drive’s continuous output current is 91.9 A and peak output current of 183.8 A. This drive comes with Two (2) port ethernet that is primarily used to implement integrated motion over Ethernet I/P. It is compatible with controller, specifically from the Logix automation platform such as ControlLogix controllers, GuardLogix controllers, CompactLogix controllers, or Compact GuardLogix controllers, especially controllers with integrated motion support.

The dual Ethernet I/P ports of this drive support implementation of linear and Device Level Ring topologies. Linear is typically used for simplex, non-redundant network while DLR is used for resilient and redundant or fault-tolerant network, increasing the network availability. Supported transmission speeds are 10 / 100 Mbps transmission speed.

The 2198-S130-ERS3 support loop velocities bandwidths of 400 Hz for velocity and 1000 Hz for current loop and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency of 4 kHz.
