The Allen-Bradley 2094-AM01-S is a Kinetix 6000 module. This component is an Axis module that is compatible for use with bulletin 2095 Kinetix 6000 Drives. This Axis module has has a voltage rating of 230VAC and continuous output power rating of 1.9 kW at 9 A.

This axis module has a bandwidth of 500 Hz for velocity loop and 1300 Hz for Current loop while the module’s Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency is 8Khz. This module has an efficiency of 98%.

The module’s nominal input voltage is 325VDC, continuous rms current of 6.0A and peak current of 8.5 mA. This axis module is integrated with Safe -Torque Off feature.

The 2094-AM01-S has a Safe-Torque Off connector, Motor cable shield clamp, Motor Power Connector, Motor Resistive Break connector, SERCOS communication rate and optical and Power Switches, all installed within the module’s front panel. This Axis module also has an embedded 2094-SEPM-B24-S which hosts the SERCOS Transmit Connector and SERCOS Receive connector as well as the dual Ethernet connection ports.

Up to Seven (7) 2094-AM01-S may be used for each Eight (8) axis power rail. When installing this module to an enclosure, the recommended minimum enclosure depth is 198 mm or 7.8 inches. When installing an array of axis modules, it is important to reduce electrical noise as the signals received and generated by the module may easily be affected by noises. It is recommended to bond the modules. To achieve bonding, power rail and mounting plate is ideally paint-free or plated. These creates a low-impedance return path for high frequency energy.
