The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2094-BC01-M01 servo drive with multiple axes is part of the Kinetix 6000 product series. This series provides great performance and a variety of features that will reduce costs and simplify machine operation. The drives from this series are compact and they provide the necessary flexibility for adjusting to the design of different machines. The 2094-BC01-M01 Kinetix 6000 drive provides multi-axis integrated motion control through the Logix platform, improved control capabilities, built-in support for multi-turn absolute encoders, limited duty cycles for the production of torque rated at up to 250% of the continuous rated current, and higher peak current than similar devices do.

These drives are CE compliant and UL listed according to the safety standards of the US and Canada. The 2094-BC01-M01 servo drive has a voltage rating of 460 Volts AC and a nominal voltage of 360 to 480 Volts AC. This compact unit has an output current of 9 Amps and a wattage of 6 kilowatts. The AC input frequency of the drive is 47 to 63 Hertz while its nominal (RMS) to the maximum (0-peak) current range is 10 to 11 Amps. In addition to that, the 2094-BC01-M01 unit has an 805 Volt DC shunt-on and a 765 Volt DC shunt-off rating. Also, the drive has a continuous power output to a bus of 6 kilowatts, while its peak power output at 480 Volts is 15 kilowatts. The line loss ride-through rating of the drive is 20 RMS and its output voltage for the nominal bus rating is 650 Volts DC. The drive has a continuous output current of 9 Amps and a peak output current of 22.6 Amps. This drive comes with a drive status LED, a communication status LED, and a bus status LED. It also has a fault status LED with 7 segments to alert for faulty events. It also includes both auxiliary feedback and motor feedback connectors. There are certain requirements that should be met before the installation of the drive. The environment should be free from moisture, oil, mist, dust, or corrosive vapors. The base of the drive should not be subjected to shock or vibrations. The area should be well-ventilated to avoid heating problems.

To operate this axis module, it is supplied by an AC input voltage range of 324-528V rms, three-phase with nominal values of 360-480VAC along an input frequency of 47-63 Hz. Additionally, the control circuitry of this module is separately supplied by an AC input voltage of 95-264VAC rms, single-phase with nominal supply voltage range of 110-240VAC rms. The control voltage nominal AC input current is 6 A for both 220 / 230 VAC and 110 / 115VAC nominal supplies with maximum inrush (0-pk) of 98 A. This module delivers Continuous output current to bus of 9.0 A; Peak output current to bus of 18.1 A for Series A drives and 22.6 Amperes for Series B, C, and D drives drives. Continuous power output to bus is 6 kW while the Peak power output is 12 kW for series A drives and 15 kW for Series B, C and D drives.

This module supports module configuration method using the Premiere Integration. Parameters of this integrated axis module is directly integrated to Logix Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) such as CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. Parameters of this module are accessed via built-in instructions and becomes integral part of the user program that is scanned cyclically by the processor. This way, parameter changes and variation may be pre-programmed and triggered automatically depending on the conditions set to the controller.
