2094-BM03

The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM03 is a Kinetix 6000 Axis Module that is made for driving servo motors. The unit is mounted in a Kinetix 6000 rack to receive a bus voltage of 650 Volts DC at the input side. The module can draw 20.7 Amps from the bus. At the output side, the 2094-BM03 generates 0 to 480 Volts AC for the servo motor according to the speed and torque demands. The output current rating of the unit is 30 Amps. The output frequency can be generated in the range of 0 to 800 Hertz. The Kinetix 6000 rack is a modular design platform that permits a high level of customization to allow it to adapt to any specific industrial application needs. The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM03 axis module cannot function on its own because it is a part of the multi-axis architecture with a shared DC power supply that reduces the size of the system. The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM03 will work best and easily integrate with other Allen-Bradley motors, but it is also flexible enough to work with different motor types and encoders for feedback to meet all the automation design requirements. The axis module communicates to PLCs over the Ethernet or SERCOS networks. It is CE and UL listed.

The Allen-Bradley 2094-BM03 is a Kinetix 6000 Axis module. This module is a 400 Volt class axis module that is powered by an input voltage of 460 Volts AC, 3-phase and capable of providing a continuous output power of 13.5 Kilowatts and continuous output current of 21.2 Amperes.

The 2094-BM03 front panel is provided with removable terminal strips on top of the module for flexibility of termination. These terminals strips are physically separated for simplified and user-friendly termination of signals. These terminal accommodate Motor power (MP) connection, Safe Torque-Off (STO) connector, Motor cable shield clamp and Motor/resistive brake (BC) connector. Also located on the top potion of the axis module is the SERCOS communication rate and optical power switches and the SERCOS transmit and receive connectors.

The 2094-BM03 has a bus input voltage of 650 Volts DC with a control input voltage of 95-264 Volts AC, 1-Phase, 50/60 Hertz along an input current of 0.75 Amperes. Aside from the mentioned output ratings, the 2094-BM03 delivers 0-480 Volts AC output voltage, 3-Phase along an output frequency of 0-800 Hertz.

The 2094-BM03 is also provided with D-shell connectors on the front panel. 9-pin D-shell interface for Motor Feedback connection while the other 9-pin D-shell connector is for the auxiliary feedback connection. This drive is also provided with a 7-Segment display for indicating drive operational status as well as error and diagnostic codes.

The 2094-BM03 is available in Series A, B, and C. With a Series A drive, peak current (rms) is 31.8 Amperes while Series B and C drives are rated for 53.0 Amperes. Peak current (0-pk) for series A is 45.0 Amperes while for series B and C, 75.0 Amperes.
