The Allen-Bradley 22B-A5P0C104 PowerFlex 40 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is a variable frequency AC drive which provides reliable speed control of induction motors, by varying the output frequency and in turn varying the output voltage and current supplied to the motor. This drive provides excellent motor speed control in a very compact package, and it features a programmable function with built-in protection for smooth operation. The 22B-A5P0C104 has a single-phase AC line input voltage range of 100 to 120 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz, with an output current rating of 2.3 Amps, and a power rating of 0.5 Horsepower. It has a displacement power factor of 0.98 across the entire speed range, and it provides a fused line input with a (194R) fuse disconnect with 200 Kilo Amps maximum fault limit. This drive provides overvoltage and under voltage protection, as well as Class 10 motor overload protection using the I2T overload protection algorithm, and an overload capability of 150% for 60 seconds and 200% of the rated output for 3 seconds.
