The 22B-B024N104 is an adjustable frequency AC drive from the Allen-Bradley’s PowerFlex 40 series. This drive is mainly used to control motor speed and torque via configurable control methods such as Volts per Hertz (V/Hz) and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC). It is also capable of implementing motor soft-starter function as it comes with programmable acceleration and deceleration as well as selectable stop modes including coast to stop, ramp, DC Braking, Ramp to Hold, and S Curve. This drive has an output voltage of 0-240 VAC, 3-phase; output current of 24.0 A; output power of 5.5 kW (7.5 HP), and programmable output frequency of 0-400 Hz. It also comes with built-in input and output channels such as Three (3) fixed and Four (4) Fully programmable sink / source discrete inputs; One (1) Form C contacts and Two (2) optocoupler output; One (1) Unipolar –10…10V or One (1) bipolar 0…10V or 4…20 mA analog input and One 0-10VDC / 0-20mA analog output channels. These I/O channels can be wired to external devices to enable remote operation of the drive. This drive is operable at a 180-264 VAC, 3-phase supply, input power of 11.8 kVA and input current of 26.1 Amperes. The integrated communication port of the 22B-B024N104 is an RS485 communication interface. It allows daisy-chain communication for the networking of drives.
