The Allen-Bradley 22B-E019N104 is a PowerFlex 40 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive. With a compact and pocket-friendly design, it meets user demands for ease of use and flexibility, providing powerful motor speed control in various applications such as fans, conveyors, machine tools, and material handling systems. Its C frame size drive can be easily installed with a simple snap on a DIN rail. For added flexibility, a panel mounting option is also provided. Its Zero Stacking feature allows for minimal or no spacing between drives, saving panel space at an ambient temperature of up to 50 °C. The 22B-E019N104 drive requires a 460 - 600V AC three-phase input voltage. It produces a 19 A current and 11 kW (15Hp) of power. It is panel-mounted with an IP20, NEMA/UL Open standard enclosure, providing it with an environmental protection from dust or dirt particles up to 12mm in diameter. An optional IP30 rating enclosure is also provided for additional protection. For better user control and operation, a 4-digit display with 10 LED indicators and an integral keypad is provided. It can also be programmed from a PC using an integral RS-485 communication port. The 22B-E019N104 comes with a low-cost integral brake transistor which facilitates a dynamic braking capability. The 22B-E019N104 drive comes with V/Hz and sensorless vector control, providing exceptional speed control and high torque levels across its entire speed range. It can adapt itself according to motor characteristics with the autotune feature. It has an integral PID, Timer, Counter, and Basic Logic and StepLogic functions, reducing costs and providing added flexibility. Optional DeviceNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, and LonWorks cards or a DSI Wireless Interface Module (WIM) can be added for enhanced communication. Removable MOV, drive overload protection, relay pre-charge and adjustable PWM frequency for quiet operation are some of its out-of-the-box features for better performance.
