The Allen-Bradley 22B-E1P7C104 is a PowerFlex 40 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive. With a compact and pocket-friendly design, it meets the user demands for ease of use and flexibility, providing powerful motor speed control in various applications such as fans, conveyors, machine tools, and material handling systems. Its B frame size drive can be easily installed with a simple snap on a DIN rail mounting. For added flexibility, a panel mounting option is also provided. Its Zero Stacking feature allows for minimal or no spacing between drives, saving panel space at up to 50 °C ambient temperatures. The 22B-E1P7C104 drive requires a 460 - 600V AC three-phase input voltage. It produces a 1.7 A current and 0.75 kW (1.0Hp) power. An IP66, NEMA/UL Type 4X rating enclosure provides it the highest level of environmental protection from particles like dust or dirt and a high level of protection against water. For better user control and operation, a 4-digit display with 10 LED indicators and an integral keypad is provided. The 22B-E1P7C104 can also be programmed from a PC using an integral RS-485 communication port. It comes with a low-cost Integral brake transistor which facilitates a dynamic braking capability. The 22B-E1P7C104 drive comes with V/Hz and sensorless vector control providing exceptional speed control and high torque levels across its entire speed range. It can adapt itself according to motor characteristics with the autotune feature. It has an integral PID, Timer, Counter, Basic Logic, and StepLogic functions reducing costs and proving added flexibility. An optional DeviceNet, ControlNet, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS DP, and LonWorks cards or a DSI Wireless Interface Module (WIM) can be added for enhanced communication. Removable MOV, drive overload protection, relay pre-charge, and adjustable PWM frequency for quiet operation are some of its out of the box features for better performance.
