The Allen Bradley 22B-E4P2C104 is part of the PowerFlex 40 motor control drive series featuring additional flexibility and control programming as well as a popular copycat function. It has an integral RS-485 communication system that can be used to program from a PC or in a multi-network configuration. This module is intended to be controlled by a control input signal that will start and stop the motor.
A power output of the drive must be used to disconnect power to the motor. Additional contacts should be used to disable drive control and run commands simultaneously.
This module should be installed as close as possible to the motor. Installation with long motor cables may require the addition of external devices.
