The Allen-Bradley 22B-V6P0C104 drive is PowerFlex 40 series AC-powered adjustable frequency drive. The Allen-Bradley 22B-V6P0C104 AC drive is part of the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex® 40P series of AC drives. PowerFlex 40P AC drives are cost-effective solutions for the speed control of various applications. The 22B-V6P0C104 supports a 120V AC single-phase input at 50 or 60 Hz. The output is rated at 1.1 kW or 1.5 HP (horsepower) and 6 Amp. The drive is equipped with a brake as a standard.

One analog input and one output are provided on the 22B-V6P0C104. Its analog input is an optically isolated bipolar input of 0 to 10V or a unipolar input of 0 to 20mA which is used for frequency command, PTC, or for external motor resistor input. The analog output is a single-ended output that is capable of either 0 – 10V DC or of 0 – 20mA and it is programmable for output frequency, output current, and output power.

Seven digital inputs and three digital outputs are available on the 22B-V6P0C104. The seven digital inputs are configurable as 24V DC sink inputs or source inputs. Four of the inputs are individually programmable for 28 different functions. The inputs draw 6 mA minimum each at 24V DC and each requires 18V minimum for the “ON” state and a maximum of 6V for the “OFF” state. The digital outputs include the following: one Form C (1 N.O - 1 N.C) output relay and two opto outputs. The contact of the Form C relay output has resistive ratings of 3A at 30V DC, and an inductive rating of 0.5A at 30V DC. The two opto outputs are rated for 50mA at 30V DC non-inductive. The relay and opto are programmable for up to 23 different conditions.

The integrated DSI peripheral interface operates at 19.2 Kbps and it provides an interface for 1 or 2 independent peripherals that can be connected to the drive simultaneously. The Modbus protocol is also supported and it operates at between 9600 and 38.4Kbps.

The HIM provided on the 22B-V6P0C104 is a fixed keypad. A 1-line x 4-character LED display is also available and used to display the drive’s operating conditions, the fault/alarm indications, and the programming information. The 22B-V6P0C104 is enclosed in an IP66 rated, NEMA/UL Type 4X enclosure. The dimensions are 180 x 100 x 136 mm and it weighs 2.2 kg. Its operating temperature range is 0 to 104º F at a 0 to 95% non-condensing humidity range.
