The 22C-B024N103 PowerFlex 400 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive by Allen-Bradley is a variable frequency AC drive for Fan and Pump Applications, which is designed to provide cost-effective solutions for speed control requirements in variable torque fan and pump applications. The 22C-B024N103 is designed for easy installation in pump and fan systems, and it features built-in protection with integral communication options which allow programming and seamless integration. The 22C-B024N103 has an operating 3-phase voltage of 240V AC, with output ratings of 24A, and 5.5KW (7.5HP), and it has an input rating of 10.9KVA, and 26.1A at 180 to 265V AC input range. It provides branch circuit protection using either the 35A Class CC fuse or using the 100-C37 IEC rated AC contactor, and it provides motor overload protection. It has a voltage tolerance of ±10% at 48 to 63Hz line input frequency, and its displacement power factor is 0.98 across the entire speed range. The 22C-B024N103 has BUS overvoltage and under voltage trips of up to 405V DC and 510V DC, and it also provides a microprocessor-controlled overcurrent trip, with 200% and 300% of the rated output hardware and instantaneous fault limits, respectively. The 22C-B024N103 has a maximum power loss ride-thru time of 100ms, with 2s standard Logic control ride-thru time, and it provides a ground fault trip and short circuit trips on the outputs using the installed Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV).





The 22C-B024N103 provides control via the pulse width modulated signal with a programmable control frequency (Carrier) range of 2 to 10 kHz, and it has a programmable output frequency range of 0 to 320Hz which determines drive’s output voltage. It provides ±1% of the base-speed performance across a 60: 1-speed range in open-loop applications with slip compensation, and its control efficiency is 97.5%. The 22C-B024N103 provides Class 10 Electronic Motor Overload Protection, with an output overload capacity of 110% for 60s, and it offers separate Acceleration and Deceleration times, programmable from 0 to 600s in 0.1s increments. It has 7 digital inputs (3 semi-programmable, 4 programmable) with 24V DC sink/source control selectable via a DIP switch setting, and it has 2 analog voltage or current 10-bit control inputs. The 22C-B024N103 also has 2 programmable Form C Relay outputs, with 2 non-isolated voltage or current Analog outputs, and it has an integral fixed control keypad with a 2-line by 16-character multi-language LCD for configuration and programming.
