The Allen-Bradley 22C-D060A103 is an adjustable Frequency AC drive that is part of the PowerFlex 400 for Fan and Pump applications. The 22C-D060A103 is also be referred to as a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or Variable Speed Drive (VSD).

The 22C-D060A103 input parameters include supply voltage of 3-Phase, 340-528VAC, apparent power of 53.3 kVA, 64 Amperes. The output capabilities on the other hand include 0-460VAC, 3-Phase, output Current of 60.0 A @ 45 Deg. C; 54. 0 A @ 50 Deg and output Power of 30.0 kW or 40.0 HP.

The 22C-D060A103 supports panel mounting to an enclosure rated IP30 / NEMA UL Type 1. Maintain panel vibration to not exceed 1G peak, 5 to 2000 Hz and shock of 15G peak for 11ms duration (±1.0 ms). This drive has an internal fan installed to help maintain the drive’s temperature.

The 22C-D060A103 has a bus overvoltage trip of 810V DC bus voltage that is equivalent to 575V of AC incoming line and bus undervoltage trip of 390V DC bus voltage that is equivalent to 275V AC of incoming line. It has an overcurrent trip of 200% hardware limit, 300% instantaneous fault, ground fault trip of Phase-to-ground on drive output and short circuit trip of Phase-to-phase on drive output.

Additionally, it may be locally configured using the integral Human Interface Module (HIM) or commonly known as keypad. This keypad has Two (2) parameter lines with Sixteen (16) character display each.

When installing the Allen-Bradley 22C-D060A103 PowerFlex 400 variable frequency drive, it must not be installed in an atmosphere that contains corrosive liquids and it cannot be exposed to liquids and environmental conditions such as rain, wind, and strong ultraviolet rays. This drive also has an RS-485 communication port. The Allen-Bradley 22C-D060A103 Powerflex 400 variable frequency drive comes with an IP30 enclosure that enables the drive to be panel-mounted. This enclosure protects the drive from external particles and at the same time it preserves all of the existent connections. Clearances must be left between the Allen-Bradley 22C-D060A103 PowerFlex 400 variable frequency drive and the equipment installed near it. These clearances will help the drive to release heat in a more efficient way and prevent the drive from overheating.

The 22C-D060A103 uses the Logix control to simplify parameters and tag programming and so to reduce the development time.
