The 22C-D088A103 is a compact, rugged and scalable drive that promotes not only increased control accuracy and efficiency but increased energy savings, overall cost effectiveness and protection of industrial devices from unwanted operational events or improper operation.

This drive is equipped with overload protections, ramp-up, ramp-down, acceleration, deceleration, flying start, sleep and wake features, all contributing to better control and protection of connected devices.

The 22C-D088A103 is a 3-Phase, 340-528VAC powered device, along an input current of 90 Amperes and frequency range of 48-63 Hz. It delivers a continuous output current of 88 Amperes, 0-400Hz frequency range and 0-460VAC, 3-Phase voltage output range. It has an integral keypad and LCD readout, allowing users to operate and configure the drive locally.

Traditional integration may be achieved via the embedded I/O channels such as Seven (7) Sink / Source Discrete Inputs, One (1) Open Output and Two (2) Form C Contacts for Discrete outputs, Two (2) Analog Input 0-10VDC; 0-20mA analog inputs and Two (2) Analog Input 0-10VDC; 0-20mA analog output channels.

Allen Bradley’s 22C-D088A103 adjustable frequency AC drive is a 3-phase VFD, belonging to the Powerflex 400 category. The 22C-D088A103 is applicable in industrial Fan and Pump applications. It has a 3-phase input Voltage of 480 Volts AC and output Voltage of 460 Volts. The drive’s rated efficiency is 97.5%, with a tolerable voltage of -10 to 10% and input frequency range of 48 or 63 Hertz. It has multiple stop modes, including Coast, Ramp-to-hold, S-Curve, DC-brake, Ramp, all of which can be programmed as well as its acceleration and deceleration times, which can be programmed to be between 0 and 600 seconds in 0.1 second increments. The drive has 110% overload capability, its control method being Sinusoidal PWM Volts per Hertz.

It has an 810 Volt bus OverVoltage Trip and a bus Undervoltage Trip of 390 Volts and Ground Fault Trip is a phase-to-ground on drive output. Its Short Circuit Trip is a phase-to-phase on drive output, and it can reach altitudes up to 1000 meters or 3300 feet without derating. The drive’s enclosure rating is IP30 and its enclosure is NEMA/UL Type 1; do not place this unit in a surrounding air temperature between -10 and 45 degrees Celsius (14 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit). It should not be stored in temperatures that exceed 85 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit) or drop below -40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit). It can handle a relative humidity anywhere between 5 and 95% without condensation, but should not be stored or operated in an atmosphere that presents harmful or corrosive vapors, gases, or dust.

This unit’s peak operating shock for 11 milliseconds (give or take one second) is approximately 15 G with operating vibration of 1G peak at 5 to 2000 Hertz.

The 22C-D088A103 has 2 programmable form C and 6 Optional programmable form A relay control outputs, 1 programmable opto control output, and 2 non-isolated (0 to 10 Volt or 4 to 20 mA) analog control outputs. The digital control inputs are 1 non-isolated (0 to 10 Volts or 1 to 20 mA) and 1 isolated (-10 to 10 Volts or 4 to 20 mA) analog control input, and seven (7) digital control inputs, three (3) of which are semi-programmable and four (4) of which can be fully programmed.
