The 22D-B017N104 is a Powerflex 40P series adjustable frequency AC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is rated at 240 Volts AC, 3-phase, 3.7 kilowatts, 5 Horsepower, 17.5 Amps of output current, and 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, with a frame size of B, and it weighs 1.905 kilograms. It provides performance-enhancing motor speed and basic position control capabilities for varied applications including smart conveyors, packaging machines, ring spinning machines, diverters, palletizers, synthetic fiber spinning machines, and drafting machines, and its sensorless vector control improves application performance, enabling it to meet low-speed torque demands. The 22D-B017N104 drive can be programmed from a PC through its built-in RS-485 communications feature, but more flexible programming and control is achieved with a NEMA Type 1 hand-held remote LCD keypad or a NEMA Type 4X that feature the CopyCat function. For trouble-free operation and real-time drive and motor protection, the 22D-B017N104 drive provides overload protection, overcurrent protection, and a removable MOV-to-ground which can be easily removed if the drive is to be used with ungrounded distribution systems.
