The 22D-B5P0N104 is a 3-phase air-cooled AC Drive from the PowerFlex 40P series of products manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. The drive is designed for closed-loop control thus improving the regulation of speed and has a cost-effective design. This standard panel mount unit is housed in IP20 (NEMA Type Open) enclosure and has a frame size B. The drive is approximately 100 millimeters (3.94 inches) wide and 213 millimeters (8.39 inches) high and 135.89 millimeters (5.35 inches) deep. The 22D-B5P0N104 requires a power input of  380 to 480 Volts AC. It outputs around 0.75 kW (1.0 Hp) and 5.0 Amps with an efficiency of 97.5% and the Estimated Power Dissipation of the drive is 60 Watts. The drive controls the motor using Sensorless Vector, Sinusoidal PWM method and the user may choose between Volts and Hertz operation. The installation of the drive is simplified due to the protective features which are built into every drive. Those features include protection against ground fault, protection against electronic motor overload and 6kV transient protection. These aforementioned features increase the life of the motor thus ensuring reliable operation.

This drive’s features several Stop Modes such as Coast, Ramp, DC-Brake, and Ramp-to-Stop. When it comes to Acceleration and Deceleration, the user may choose between four acceleration and deceleration times. The 22D-B5P0N104 comes with a Display that can be used to change parameters and a Reset button which allows the drive to be reset in case of a fault. The drive with a Resistive Relay Contact has No Emission Class EMC filter and comes without a CE compliant filter.
