The 22D-D012F104 is a closed-loop AC drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It comes from the series of PowerFlex40P AC Drives which have been designed to cater to industrial needs. The AC drive is designed to work with a three-phase 480 Volts AC input supply. It can provide up to 7.5 Horsepower of output and it has a rated current of 12 Amps. It comes from the series of Size C modules with a Flange Type IP20 mounting. This drive has a 10% voltage tolerance and frequency range of 48 to 63 Hertz. It can bear a short circuit current of up to 100,000 Amps Symmetrical but the actual rating depends on the circuit breaker ratings. The PowerFlex 40P series features a variety of compact design industrial motor drives. The 22D-D012F104 features a simple user interface with a 4-digit display, and an integrated LCD keypad and three additional indicators and scrolling buttons.

The 22D-D012F104 drive can work with remote devices and the users can program the device through a remote keypad as well. This drive also communicates with modules through the CIP RS-485 communication protocol. Programming the drive is simple. This drive also offers options for Category 3 Safe Torque Off. This protective option prevents the module or load motors from any excessive current and sudden voltage dips. Since this variable frequency AC drive is compact and lightweight, it can be easily installed in most of the industrial setups.
