The 22D-D012H204 is an adjustable frequency drive manufactured by Allen Bradley. It belongs to the PowerFlex 40P series which have two major needs that they address; these are closed-loop control and category 3 safe-off.  The 22D-D012H204 like others in its series has a compact design and is cost effective. The 22D-D012H204 operates a 3 phase induction system and runs at an operating voltage of 480 Volts AC. The 22D-D012H204 puts out a 12 A current and it is able to generate an output of 2.2 kW or 3.0 Horsepower. The enclosure of the 22D-D012H204 is a plate drive IP20 (NEMA open) type and has a no filter emission class.

The 22D-D012H204 has a frame size of “C” and runs at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz.  It runs on a standard version and also has the Human Interface Module feature. The Human-Module Interface (HMI) of the 22D-D012H204 is the plate drive type, which has a display or Fault Reset Only feature. For this HMI, there are different option kits and accessories, which include a panel mount type, a handheld type, a wireless handheld type, a bezel kit (specific to the IP20), and a DSI HMI cable. The 22D-D012H204 boasts of a velocity and frequency control, sensorless vector control and additional safety features, conferred on it by the Driveguard Safe Torque-off. The 22D-D012H204 has 25 fuses, as part of the Branch circuit protection and a minimum enclosure volume of 2069 cubic inches. The estimated power dissipation of the 22D-D012H204 is 175 Watts and this module performs the role of the flexible, easy to use and space saving adjustable frequency AC drive.
