The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 22D-D024H204 drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the PowerFlex 40P product line. The Allen-Bradley 22D-D024H204 is a high-performance drive that belongs to the PowerFlex 40 series that is designed to give OEMs, machine manufacturers, and users performance-enhancing motor control in a simple-to-use compact package. Manufactured by Allen-Bradley with flexible packaging alternatives and simple programming structure, the 22D-D024H204 drive can be configured easily for a variety of applications. The drive comes with sensorless vector control to allow it to meet the low-speed torque requirements, improving the application performance.

The 22D-D024H204 is made up of many technical specifications which make its user operation interface simple to use. This includes horsepower ratings from 0.5-1.5HP, 0.5-10HP, 0.5-15HP, or from 1-15HP, an input voltage range from 100-120V, 200-240V, 380-480V, or from 500-600V, and an output voltage range from 0.5-1.5HP, 0.5-3HP, 0.5-10HP, 0.5-15HP, or from 1-15HP. Its enclosure types include the NEMA/UL Type Open and IP20 types and it has an electrical frequency tolerance of 48-63Hz. This drive delivers numerous benefits for many industrial requirements. This is because it comes with mounting and packaging options such as the DIN rail mounting feature and the panel mounting feature. The 22D-D024H204’s maximum ambient temperature is 50 degrees Celsius with little spacing between it and another drive. With zero stacking or no space between the drives, the maximum ambient temperature is 40 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, the 22D-D024H204 drive is designed with other cost-effective features to offer streamlined set-up and operation. This includes an integral keypad with a 4-digit display screen and 10 LED signals. Its other features include control keys, keypad, and a potentiometer that is active even straight out of the box.

It can connect to any controller with DF1 messaging due to its serial converter module and its Multi-drop network configuration with integral RS485 communications.  The 22D-D024H204 also comes with extra control and encoding flexibility with its NEMA 1 handheld LCD keypad and its NEMA 4X remote.
