The Allen-Bradley 22F-A4P2N113 is a PowerFlex 4M adjustable Frequency Drive. This drive is a Frame A drive that supports DIN rail installation and Zero (0) stacking installation, significantly reducing panel space requirement of the drive.

The 22F-A4P2N113 is a Volts per Hertz control capable drive, used for excellent speed modulation with constant Torque output. The 22F-A4P2N113 also comes with an integral keypad and programming keys as well as a Four (4) digit display screen, providing any user to input configuration parameters, control commands and monitor the drive’s operation. This integral Human Interface Module (HIM) may be enhanced by installing a NEMA/UL Type 4X remote and NEMA/UL Type 1 hand-held LCD keypad, providing additional programming and control flexibility, especially featuring CopyCat function.

The 22F-A4P2N113 has an integral RS485 / DSI communication interface, used to connect the drive in a networked architecture following daisy-chain topology. The RS485 / DSI supports MODBUS RTU protocol, which allows direct connection to PanelView Products via RTU master configuration, Direct communication with MicroLogix controllers, SLC500, ControlLogix, 3rd party and encompass partner scanner modules. It also supports installation of option communication modules such as a serial converter module that allows the drive to communicate and initiate DF1 messaging while communication adapters available include DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, ProfiBus DP, LonWOrks, BACnet and ControlNet. These communication adapters are intended to provide flexibe connectivity to the drive and used with a DSI communication kit.

The drive’s feed through wiring design allows faster connection of existing signal wires, reducing installation works and wiring tasks thus, enabling retrofitting of the drive faster.

The 22F-A4P2N113 PowerFlex 4M delivers excellent speed control via the Vols per Hertz control capability. This adjustable frequency AC drive requires a single-phase 230VAC power, and supports side by side or Zero (0) stacking installation. Up to Five (5) PowerFlex 4M is supported by the Zero (0) stacking installation. The 22F-A4P2N113 also delivers excellent performance if paired with another 22F-A4P2N113. In this case, pairing the machines offers reduced input response time under precise current operation. Users can also remove the varistor (MOV) should they wish the machine to communicate over IT controlled networks.
