The Allen-Bradley 22F-A8P0N103 PowerFlex 4M AC Frequency Drive is a 240V AC (1-Phase) variable frequency drive with a filter which provides control for the machine speed of industrial motors. Its operating voltage is 180-265V AC at 50-60Hz, with an output current of 8A and a power output of 1.5kW (2HP). It has a real power usage of 5.4KVA with a 22.3A input current and it provides branch circuit protection via its 35 Class J fuses with the 140M-D8E-C25 motor protector and the 100-C23 circuit contactor. It has 5 digital control inputs with the source mode (18-24V/0-6V ON/OFF) and the sink mode (0-6/18-24V ON/OFF) which are both user selectable with a DIP switch and a single 0-10V DC/4-20mA Analog input with 100 K Ohms/250 Ohms loads. The 22F-A8P0N103 has a Form C relay output, with 3A resistive rating and a 0.5A inductive rating at 30V DC, 125V AC, but it has no safety input option.

It has 200% hardware limit, and 300% instantaneous fault overcurrent protection, with a motor overload protection rate 150% for 60 seconds and of 200% for 3 seconds, and it provides a BUS overvoltage trip of 405V and an undervoltage trip of 210V. It has a programming panel with a multi-lingual LCD display and quick-view scrolling text keys and a fixed keypad, and it comes with an integral RS485 (Modbus RTU) communication port and optional DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and Bluetooth communication options. The drive can be panel mounted, and it comes in an IP20-rated enclosure. It has a working temperature range around 14-122o F, at 0-95% non-condensing relative humidity, and it can be stored at a temperature range around –40-185 oF. The 22F-A8P0N103 has 1000m of maximum working height, without de-rating, and it weighs approximately 1.6Kg (3.5lb), with total dimensions of 72mm x 174mm x 136mm.
