The Allen-Bradley 22F-V4P5N103 is a 120 Volt AC, Single-Phase Drive with 50/60 Hz frequency. It is one part of the most cost-efficient and compact series in the PowerFlex family of drives, which is the PowerFlex 4M Adjustable Frequency AC Drives. It has an output rated at 0.75 kW (1.0 HP), 4.5 Amps, and an input rated at 2.2 kVA, 18.0 Amps with a voltage range between 90 and 126 Volts. It has a 30 fuse rating for branch circuit protection and comes in a B frame size, with an IP20 NEMA/UL open type enclosure for panel mounting. In addition, it has a fixed keypad interface module but comes without an EMC filter and brake IGBT.

The 22F-V4P5N103 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive provides high torque levels across its speed range. This excellent speed regulation is maintained even when loading is increased. In cases where troubleshooting is necessary, the drive status or condition can be monitored via the integral keypad and the LED indicators.  There are two fault types which will stop drive operation: the Auto Reset/Run that prompts a restart, and the non-resettable that may require a motor or drive repair. Corrective actions for common fault symptoms are included in the 22F-UM001D-EN-E user manual.

The 22F-V4P5N103 Drive operates quietly with an adjustable PWM frequency of up to 10 kHz. It has a lay pre-charge feature that helps in limiting the inrush current. The DIP switch setting is used to set the 24 Volt DC control logic for Sink or Source control. Its removable MOV makes operation reliable whether on grounded or ungrounded resistive distribution systems. It ensures consistent high performance by providing Volts per Hertz control. The feed-through wiring design cuts back on installation requirements by making the retrofitting process quick and simple. An electrically isolated 0 to 10 Volts input or 4 20 mA input can be used for speed control.
