The Allen Bradley® PowerFlex 523 model 25A-D024N104 is a 3-phase AC Drive that accepts an Input Voltage of 380 to 480 Volts AC and is capable of delivering up to 24.0 A of current to drive motors with power ratings up to 15 HP (11 KW). The PowerFlex 523 25A-D024N104 has a frame size “D” enclosure (measured at 140.0 x 168.0 x 207.0 millimeters) which is rated as IP20 for environmental protection, making it is suitable for indoor use. Zero StackingTM can be applied to save valuable panel space, in ambient temperature zones less than 45 degrees Celsius. The 25A-D024N104 combines a variety of motor control options such as Volts per Hertz (V/Hz), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC) and Sinusoidal PWM, with a carrier frequency that ranges from 2 to 16 KHz. It has complete support for Common/Shared DC Bus to help conserve energy.

The PowerFlex 523 25A-D024N104 AC Drive has a fully configurable, modular and programmable design. It’s made up of serviceable, detachable power and control modules, and with the MainsFree™ configuration feature, the user can simply connect the drive to a PC through a standard USB port to quickly upload, download, and flash the drive with new settings. Optional accessories and communications cards can be plugged into this module to add new functionality without increasing the drive footprint. The I/O options available in the PowerFlex® 25A-A8P0N114  include five (5) 24 Volt digital inputs (4 programmable +1 dedicated to STOP function) to recieve Drive command signals and they can be configured as sink or source with a jumper switch, one (1) relay output that can be used for multiple functions, one (1) analog input which can be configured as 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 Volts, and one (1) analog output that can be used for metering or as speed reference to another Drive.

The 25A-A8P0N114 can withstand 10% overload for 60 seconds or 150% for 3 seconds. It also has a removable MOV to ground connection to protect against voltage spikes. Multiple communication options available in the 25A-A8P0N114 enable it to connect tightly to modern control systems without conventional analog or Digital I/O. It can, additionally, be connected to industrial networks, HMI or Remote SCADA systems with complete ease, and the available Example communication protocols include Profibus DP, DeviceNet, and RS485/DSI.
