The Allen-Bradley 25A-D4P0N104 is a PowerFlex 523 adjustable frequency AC drive. This drive is used for implementing Speed control as well as Torque control through a variety of supported control methods such as Volts / Hertz (V/Hz), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC) economizer mode.

The 25A-D4P0N104 is a Frame A drive that supports both direct panel mounting through the provided mounting tabs or using a standard DIN rail. It requires installation to an enclosure with protection rating of IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open. When installed using a DIN rail, it is important to consider that it offers lesser vibration and shock resistance. To afford slightly higher resistance than DIN rail installation, install this drive directly to the enclosure.

Generally, an adjustable frequency AC drive is more commonly termed as Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Variable Speed Drive (VSD), Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD), Frequency inverter, inverter or simply a drive. The 25A-D4P0N104 provides a wide range of motor controls such as Volts per Hertz, sensorless vector control, and sensorless vector control through the economizer mode. It runs at an ambient temperature of up to 70 degrees Celsius without derating and control module fan kit, provides side-by-side mounting with a 50 millimeter (1.9 inch) required air flow gap both at the top and bottom of the drive. This module plays a vital role in supporting low-cost networking via an integrated RS485/DSI port. It is designed to be installed in an enclosure type IP20 NEMA / Open Type and Comes with a frame size of frame A. It also comes with a standard interface module and has an EMC Filtering alternative.
