The Allen-Bradley 25A-E0P9N104 PowerFlex 523 Adjustable Frequency Drive, is a member of the PowerFlex 520 Family drives with a modular design for quick and easy installation and wiring problem. It is used for controlling 3-phase induction motors in a wide range of industrial applications with speed control requirements. The 25A-E0P9N104 offers zero stacking packing, which saves valuable space, and allows for up to 40 °C ambient temperature, and it features ground fault trip protection using a removable Metal Oxide Varistor. The 25A-E0P9N104 has 600V AC (3-phase) drive rating, with 0.4kW (0.5HP) power rating, at 0.9A output current, and it has an input and output voltage tolerance of -15% to +10% at 47 to 63Hz. The adjustable frequency drive has a displacement power factor of 0.98 across the entire speed range, with 100,000A short-circuit rating, and it provides 1005V DC, and 390V DC BUS over-voltage and under-voltage trips. The 25A-E0P9N104 offers a robust (100ms) power loss ride thru time, with a 2s Logic ride thru time, and it provides Class 10 electronic motor overload protection. The drive provides 200% hardware overcurrent trip, and it has a removable MOV, that provides a ground fault trip with phase-to-phase protection. The 25A-E0P9N104 provides Sine coded pulse width modulated signal, with 2 to 16 KHz carrier frequency range, and an adjustable 0 to 500Hz output frequency range.





The drive offers ±1%, and ±0.5% based speed regulation across a 60:1 and 100: 1-speed range using the standard volt per hertz control and sensorless vector control/sensorless vector control with an economizer. It has a selectable output voltage range between 0 and the rated motor voltage, and it offers digital and analog inputs with an accuracy within ±0.05%, and 0.5% of the set output frequency. The 25A-E0P9N104 has 5 (1 dedicated, 4 programmable) 24V DC digital control, with sink and source controls, selectable using a DIP switch, and it has 1 isolated 0 to 10V DC and 4 to 20mA, 10-bit analog input with 100k ohm and 250ohm input loads. The 25A-E0P9N104 also has 1 non-isolated 10-bit analog output, with 1 programmable Form C relay output, and it features multiple stop modes, with 2 independently programmed acceleration and deceleration times.
