Various starting and stopping methods may also be configured to efficiently start and stop the connected motor specifically, Acceleration, Deceleration times which are adjustable in 0.01 increments up to 600 seconds, Ramping, coast, DC-Brake, and Ramp-to-Stop characteristics to lessen the effects of mechanical stress brought by a sudden change in rotational direction a well as limit the generation of a huge level of current. The 25B-E1P7N104’s electrical specifications include input voltage rating of 525-600 VAC, 3-Phase, and input current of 2.3 Amperes. This compact drive from the PowerFlex 525 series of products is a perfect choice for networked machines requiring simple system integration and more options for motor control. This unit is a Frame A drive measuring 152 millimeters (5.98 inches) high, 72 millimeters (2.83 inches) wide, and 172 millimeters (6.77 inches) deep. Housed in an IP20 NEMA/Open Type enclosure, the 25B-E1P7N104 should be mounted vertically, side-by-side with the other components to reduce the panel space. The 25B-E1P7N104 operates on a 600 Volt AC input voltage and it outputs a 1.7 output current. This drive is used for motor control and comes with 16 preset speeds. The standard built-in Ethernet/IP ports enable the drive to be perfectly integrated into the Logix environment, while the user also has the option to connect a dual-port Ethernet/IP card. Furthermore, the DSI port allows up to five PowerFlex AC drives to be connected on a single node. In terms of safety, the drive features a hard-wired Safe Torque-off option and an Integrated Safety option enabled by the Ethernet/IP connection. These options can decrease the total system costs, minimize downtime and improve the availability of the machine. The drive has a standard Human-Module Interface that supports multiple languages (including Italian, German, Czech, Spanish, Turkish, and so on) and can be programmed using Quickview Scrolling Text. The 25B-E1P7N104 can withstand maximum operating temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). If the user supplies additional cooling devices, such as a control module fan kit, and current derating, the operating temperatures may rise to the astonishing 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit). If the aforementioned Control Module Fan Kit is supplied, the drive may be mounted horizontally as well. The user must follow the installation guidelines and must not block the airflow to the drive because that may cause overheating which could damage the drive or lead to injuries of the personnel.
