The 25B-E3P0N104 is a PowerFlex 525 that delivers excellent speed and torque control using a variety of control methods such as Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), Volts/Hertz (V/Hz), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), Economizer SVC motor control, Closed Loop Velocity Vector Control, Surface Mount and Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (without encoder), Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (with encoder).

The 25B-E3P0N104 is part of Allen-Bradley’s PowerFlex Drive products, specifically belonging to the PowerFlex 525 Product category. This drive is powered by an input voltage supply of 446-660VAC, 3-phase, frequency of 50/60 Hz and input current of 3.8 Amperes. It delivers and output voltage range of 0-575VAC, 3-Phase, output current of 3.0 A and applicable motor rating of 1.5 kW (2.0 HP). With premiere integration, drive parameters may be directly communicated to controllers such as CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. Parameters may be directly link to user logic, which allows modification and dynamic configuration of the drive.

The Allen-Bradley 25B-E3P0N104 drive delivers an innovative design which is versatile and can accommodate standalone machines with simple structure integration. The 25B-E3P0N104 provides modulating speed control for motors rated 1.5 kW (2.0 HP). The modular design consists of the power module and a detachable control which allows simultaneous installation and configuration. Also, there is a standard control module which is used across the whole power range. Additionally, there is MainsFree configuration which permits users to connect their control modules to the PC using a standard USB cable.

The 25B-E3P0N104’s can be installed on a DIN rail or directly to an enclosure subpanel. Zero stacking is done at a temperature of up to 45 deg. C which saves valuable panel space. The 25B-E3P0N104 include a removable MOV which ensures that there is trouble-free operation when it is used in ungrounded distribution systems. Additionally, there is a jumper to switch between source control and 24V DC sink control which controls wiring flexibility. Additionally, there are two analog inputs on the 25B-E3P0N104, one bipolar and one unipolar which are isolated. There are also seven digital inputs which provide application versatility. It ,ay be installed with communication adapters such as PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet and Dual Ethernet I/P communication madapter which improve machine connectivity and operation. The 25B-E3P0N104 has an embedded IP/EtherNet port which permits easy control, the collection of data, data storage, and configuration. The DSI/Integral RS485 communication ports allow the drive to be utilized in a multi-drop network.
