The Allen-Bradley 25B-V4P8N104 is an adjustable Frequency AC Drive. This drive is a Frame B drive that operates when supplied with 120VAC, 1-phase voltage input with frequency range of 47-63 Hz. This drive features a compact and scalable hardware, supporting Zero stacking installation which effective maximizes available panel space. With Zero stacking installation, an array of PowerFlex drives may be installed with almost no clearance in between. Additionally, this drive, being able to implement basic and advanced motor controls, supports simple installation such as Din rail and direct panel mounting.

The 25B-V4P8N104 comes with an output power of 0.75 kW or 1.0 HP for both normal and heavy-duty operation as well as 4.8 Ampere output current. Additionally, it comes with integrated EMC filter that enables this drive to be used out-of-the-box. It also comes with embedded Human Interface module (HIM) that has a set of embedded keypad for local operation, configuration of the drive. Additionally, it has an LCD readout that provides monitoring of drive status and implementing error diagnostics, in the event of drive malfunction.

Speed control can be done in a variety of ways. These available speed control options support manual and automatic speed control which effectively simplifies and increases operational efficiency.

Its control I/O is composed of two analog inputs (unipolar and bipolar ones), seven digital inputs - six of which are programmable, one jumper selectable analog output, two relay outputs, and two opto-outputs. Its frame size of B fits into the IP20 NEMA/ Open Type enclosure and it has a standard interface module. The 25B-V4P8N104 PowerFlex 525 AC drive comes with a variety of motor control options that include Closed loop velocity vector control, Permanent Magnet motor control, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), and Volts per Hertz (V/Hz). It offers a range of positioning controls, from PointStop, point-to-point positioning mode, and closed-loop feedback with an added encoder card, and it has an embedded Ethernet/IP port for control, data collection, and configuration over the network. Its integral RS485/DSI communications supports a multi-drop network configuration and it also has optional communication cards such as DeviceNet, Dual-port EtherNet/IP, and PROFIBUS DP; plus two PID loops that further enhance application flexibility. The 25B-V4P8N104 has built-in safety features to help protect equipment and personnel. In the event of no power or low voltage conditions, it allows the selection of the 1/2 line voltage operation for critical applications where continued drive output is required. When the circuit is tripped, the Safe-Torque-Off Function removes rotational power to keep the entire drive from shutting down. With embedded safety, the requirement for installation space and wiring is cut down to a minimum. This AC drive meets ISO 13849-1 standards with safety ratings including SIL 2/PLd.
