The Allen-Bradley 25C-D2P3N104 is an adjustable Frequency AC Drive from the PowerFlex 527 product family. This drive operates when supplied with an input voltage range of 380-480VAC, 3-phase, frequency of 47-63 Hz with input tolerance range of -15% / +10%. It delivers an output power of 0-460VAC, 3-Phase, with rated Current of 2.3 A, Power of 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) and programmable output frequency of 0-590 Hz.

The 25C-D2P3N104 has built-in dynamic braking resistor however, it doesn’t have an integral EMC filter. It supports DIN rail mounting and dire t mounting to the enclosure subpanel and compatible with zero stacking configuration. It also comes with an integral keypad which is used for configuration, operation ang troubleshooting locally. It has dual Ethernet ports supporting Linear, Star and Ring topologies. For direct integration of parameters to controllers, the 25C-D2P3N104 works only with the Allen-Bradley Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) specifically, CompactLogix, GuardLogix and ControlLogix controllers. When integrating this drive to any of these PACs, the software Studio 5000 Logix Designer is required to implement premiere integration. With premiere integration, the 25C-D2P3N104 is coupled with an Add-on profile that is imported to the PAC’s memory. Parameters, configuration and operation is made possible using this method including dynamic configuration wherein, drive parameters and settings change depending on the program.

The 25C-D2P3N104 has bus overvoltage trip of 810V DC bus (equivalent to 575V AC incoming line); Bus undervoltage trip of 390V DC bus (equivalent to 275V AC incoming line); Overcurrent of 200% hardware limit, 300% instantaneous fault; Phase-to-ground on drive output for Ground fault trip and Phase-to-phase on drive output for short circuit trip.

The 25C-D2P3N104 AC PowerFlex drive is designed to manage simple speed regulating applications for induction motors. The 25C-D2P3N104 drive only needs a minimal amount of configuration and will operate exclusively with Allen-Bradley Logix Controllers. Additionally, the 25C-D2P3N104 drive is equipped with a dual-port Ethernet/IP system. With built-in Safe-Torque-Off support, these drives comply with Integrated Safety standards. This PowerFlex 527 AC drive operates as a natural extension of a Logix Programmable Automation Controller. This high level of integration heightens the motor’s coordination for a higher level of machine performance. These drives help simplify configuration, programming, and general use. For most user capability, the 25C-D2P3N104 has Ethernet IP (Dual Port) communication. It does not have an EMC Filtering option, as the unit is designed and built to function solely for use in industrial, factory environments. This unit is most often used in speed-control (for induction motors) related applications, such as pumps, fans, and in-feed/outfeed conveyors. It also has several removable terminal blocks, which greatly simplify the installation process. The 25C-D2P3N104 has a built-in safety feature that minimizes wiring and conserves space in the installation area. Its drive configuration is stored in a Logix controller, which supports fast, automated unit replacements.
