The Allen-Bradley 25C-E022N104 AC drive from the PowerFlex 527 series of products is a top-performance flexible drive made for special conditions in a highly demanding industrial environment. This three-phase PowerFlex drive features an input voltage of 525 to 600 Volts AC and an output current of 22.0 Amps. The drive also has 20 Horsepower/15 Kilowatts output power when in Normal Duty (ND) mode and it has 15 Horsepower/11 Kilowatts output power when in Heavy-Duty (HD) mode. The drive is capable of operating with overloads in both modes within 3 to 60 seconds of time at up to 200% of its capacity. The PowerFlex 527 AC drives feature various motor control functionalities such as sensorless vector control (with or without an economizer), volts per hertz control, and closed loop velocity vector control, and they are used for either open-loop or closed-loop speed regulation. Besides that, these drives have safe torque-off (SIL 3 / PLe Cat 3) functionality and they communicate through a built-in EtherNet/IP dual port.

The 25C-E022N104 drive and other drives from PowerFlex 527 family are meant to be used with Allen-Bradley Logix controllers and they share a common configuration and programming capabilities with the Kinetix servo drives which are also designed by Allen-Bradley. The intended use for the PowerFlex 527 drives includes various applications for combining it with machines such as fans, pumps, and conveyors that require speed control for induction motors.
