The 20DD248A3ENNA1CNK is an adjustable AC drive from the PowerFlex 700S family of drives manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is capable of outputting up to 200 Horsepower and it can operate 3-phase AC motors that require up to 480 Volts AC of voltage and 249 Amps of current to run. It comes with a full numeric LCD human-machine interface, an IP20 rated enclosure, a microprocessor-controlled excessive temperature trip, and a multi-device interface feedback option. The 20DD248A3ENNA1CNK drive supports panel board mounting and it easily integrates into speed control systems while offering maximum flexibility of applications and in the choice of fuses that can be used to protect its input line. It offers remote access and configuration via ControlNet and features 0.25 seconds of logic control ride through with the drive not running.
Although the 20DD248A3ENNA1CNK PowerFlex drive is designed for direct connection to an AC power supply, and a transformer or line reactor can be introduced into the system if the power source experiences frequent outages or intermittent voltage spikes. If the drive is installed with unshielded wires, the wires used in connecting the 20DD248A3ENNA1CNK PowerFlex drive must have a minimum insulation of 15 milliseconds. The start/stop control circuitry of the 20DD248A3ENNA1CNK PowerFlex drive contains solid-state components that may require additional hardwired stop circuitry to power down the drive in the event of accidental contact with moving equipment, or in the event of the accidental flow of liquids and solids around or into the device.
