This drive is designed for enhanced drive control in a wide range of machine motion control applications. The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive features advanced control, programmability, and built-in diagnostics for handling demanding modern industrial drive applications. This drive combines the enhanced performance and flexibility of the PowerFlex AC drives with the high-performance DriveLogix control technology to provide a highly functional, cost-effective drive and control solution. The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive has MOVs on its outputs and inputs for enhanced line transient protection, short-circuit protection, and ground fault protection. It also has built noise filtering capabilities and an overload capacity of up to 150% of the drive’s full rating for 60 seconds.

The Allen-Bradley 20DK590N0NNNBCANE PowerFlex 700S Adjustable Frequency AC Drive has a rated DC input voltage of 810 Volts DC and an input current rating of 666 Amps. This drive has a continuous output current rating of 590 Amps and a normal duty output power rating of 600 Horsepower. The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive has a rated displacement power factor of 0.98 across all speed ranges and an efficiency rating of 97.5%. The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive offers a very fast and precise programmable current limit and an enhanced bus regulator that is 4 times faster than the regulators in older drive models for maximum acceleration and deceleration without tripping.  The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive also offers enhanced process loop control that executes 6 times faster than previous drives were capable of, providing a dynamic response in tension control applications. The 20DK590N0NNNBCANE Adjustable Frequency AC Drive features a “Negative Feedforward” functionality that that helps eliminate overshooting in step loads, and it also has a servo lock capability that compensates for position loss due to velocity regulation in the step load.
