These industrial drive series are both produced by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and they are made for providing a wide range of industrial drives for different industrial applications. The SK-H1-QOUT-D385 part is an isolated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) module and it is an optional component which provides additional capabilities for a PowerFlex 700H or 700S drive. The SK-H1-QOUT-D385 IGBT module has a current rating of 385 Amps and it is compatible with drives designed for 400/480 Volts AC-rated power sources. It should be connected to a drive that is using a standard one-phase power source.

The SK-H1-QOUT-D385 isolated gate bipolar transistor module can be installed on both sides (left or right) of the host drive and it is intended for drives that have a frame size of 10. The supported PowerFlex series drives have many protective features such as electronic motor overload protection for Class 10 motors, intermittent overload capabilities, 15 milliseconds of power ride-thru at a full load, line transients up to 6000 Volts peak per the IEEE C62.41-1991 standards, 0.5 to 2 seconds of logic control ride-thru, and ground fault and short circuit protection. The IGBT module itself is certified according to the KC standard and the PowerFlex drives comply with industrial standards like the Ex, CE, cULus, and other standards. The SK-H1-QOUT-D385 IGBT module is made for drives with a displacement power factor of 0.98 across the entire speed range and 97.5% efficiency at the rated current. These drives have a maximum short circuit rating of less or equal to 200,000 Amps symmetrical. The AC input voltage tolerance is +/-10% and the frequency tolerance is 47 to 63 Hertz.
