It features an AC input voltage rating of 400 Volts with a base input frequency rating of 50 Hertz for both 3-phase and single-phase power supplies and a DC input voltage rating of 540 Volts. This Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation drive is a general-purpose drive designed to offer a high-output, low-cost control solution to a variety of motor control applications worldwide. It uses Allen-Bradley TotalFORCE technology to provide efficient and adaptive motor control with self-monitoring capabilities and a fully digital platform, and this enables the drive to function more quickly, precisely, and responsively. The front and back enclosures of this drive have NEMA/UL open protection ratings. The 20GEANC477JA0NNNNN drive must be installed indoors only due to its open enclosure, and it should be installed in an external enclosure with a stronger protection rating to meet environmental safety requirements.

Besides the TotalFORCE technology, the Allen-Bradley 20GEANC477JA0NNNNN PowerFlex 755TS series variable frequency drive also has a number of other significant features and options, including DeviceLogix control technology, TorqProve control technology, predictive diagnostics, a safe torque off option, and patented slot-based hardware architecture. The sensorless vector and Volts per Hertz control modes are used to control induction, permanent magnet, and synchronous reluctance motors. The 20GEANC477JA0NNNNN drive also provides an economizer control mode for controlling induction motors only.
