The 150-C19NCR is an Allen-Bradley Soft Starter from the Smart Motor Controller (SMC) 3 series. This motor controller is a user-configurable device that is used to implement efficient starting and stopping of an industrial 3-phase AC motor. It can be used with line-connected and Delta-connected motors and supports direct panel mounting. This controller comes with a line voltage requirement of 00-600V AC, 3-Phase, 50/60 Hz, and a control voltage requirement of 24 VDC / VAC. It comes with a DIP switch for configuration of overload trip class that can be configured as class 10, 15, or 20; Operating mode such as Soft Start, Current Limit Start, Selectable Kickstart, Coast-to-rest, and Soft Stop control methods and a front panel rotary switch that can be used to configure the overcurrent configuration of this soft starter. The 150-C19NCR is only used with 3-phase motors. It has a rated impulse voltage of 6 kV with an overvoltage category of III. Built-in DV/DT Protection is available to this device rated 1000V/µs. This soft starter is also equipped with a pair of Normally Open (N.O.) relay output. One is dedicated to external monitoring of controller Overload and Fault while the other contact is used for providing Normal and Up-to-speed feedback of the motor. Both these contacts are capable of passing AC or DC, rated 0.6 A @ 120V AC and 0.3 A @ 240V AC with also typical Thermal current of 1 Ampere. An optional auxiliary contact terminal may be purchased and installed to the side of this soft starter.
The Allen-Bradley 150-C19NCR is an open-type 3-wire SMC-3 Smart Motor Controller. Compatible with Delta-connected motors, this controller has the capacity to operate 3-phase motors. It comes with an LED display that lets you see the current state of the controller, such as OFF, RUN, and FAULT. DIP switches are available that allow you to configure the overload trip class, start/stop profile, and auxiliary contact characteristics of the controller. The configurable auxiliary contact characteristics can be set to Normal or Up-to-Speed. A rotary pot is dedicated to the overload FLC setting. Its compact size of 45 x 141 x 100 millimeters, built-in SCR bypass, and its overload relay for the motor phases give it a smaller footprint than most soft start controllers and less heat generation. The overload protection of the 150-C19NCR controller allows trip class flexibility, letting you select between OFF, 10, 15, or 20, and manual or automatic overload reset. It can detect various FAULT conditions, such as phase imbalance, phase loss/open load, phase reversal, shortened SCRs, and overtemperature in the power section. Motor control is available for the standard squirrel cage induction motor and full 3-phase control. You can choose between several modes of operation, namely soft start, soft stop, kickstart, and current limit start. This controller has a selectable start time of 2, 5, 10, or 15 seconds and a selectable kick start of 0, 0.5, 1, or 1.5 seconds at 450% FLA. The 150-C19NCR’s selectable current limit is 150%, 250%, 350%, or 450% of the full load current and the selectable initial torque is 15%, 25%, 35%, or 65% of the locked rotor torque. This controller also has a selectable soft stop of OFF, 100%, 200%, or 300% of the start time setting. The 150-C19NCRis a 24V AC/DC controller that runs on 200-600 V AC at 50-60 Hz. This controller has a 19 A voltage rating, a 6.3-19 A motor current, 11 kW maximum at 50 Hz, and 7.5-15 Hp maximum at 60 Hz. Its operating temperature is 0-50 Deg. Celsius and its storage temperature is -2- 85 Deg. Celsius. It also comes with a relative humidity of 5-95% and an operating altitude of up to 6560 feet.
