The SMC Plus controller that is known as the 150-A180NBD-8L4 controller is available through the Bulletin 150 product line by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This unit is used in combination with standard squirrel-cage induction motors that operate on three-phase power sources. The 150-A180NBD-8L4 controller provides microprocessor-controlled starting in three main starting modes which are the soft start with selectable kickstart, the full-voltage start, and the current limit start. The SMC Plus series offers controllers for motors with current ratings from 1 to 1000 Amps and voltage ranges of 200 to 480 Volts AC and 200 to 600 Volts AC. The 150-A180NBD-8L4 controller is manufactured in accordance with the CSA, UL and CE standards. Besides that, this controller comes with optional functionalities like slow speed with braking, accu-stop, preset slow speed, and pump control.
