150-S317NUR

The Allen-Bradley 150-S317NUR controller is a smart motor controller with an integrated internal bypass. It belongs to the SMC-50 series that is available with a current range from 108 to 480 Amps with the internal bypass. The solid-state SMC-50 starters are available with 90 to 520 Amps of current. The SMC-50 controllers also support 17 starting and stopping modes and they include four special operating modes. These controllers include three hardware expansion ports and they support built-in electronic motor overload protection. The 150-S317NUR controller is rated for 317 Amps of output current and 200 to 690 Volts AC input voltage. Only 3-phase input is supported at a line frequency of either 50 or 60 Hertz. The control voltage rating is 24 Volts DC.

The standard I/O on the 150-S317NUR controller includes two relay outputs and two 24 Volts DC inputs. Optional I/O modules include a digital I/O module with three relay outputs and an analog I/O module with two analog inputs and two analog outputs.  The 150-S317NUR controller can be used to control standard squirrel cage induction motors and Wye-Delta motors. A total of four integrated DPI ports are available for serial communication. The optional communication modules include the DeviceNet, Ethernet, ControlNet, Dual Ethernet, HVAC, and RS-485 modules. The rated heat dissipation is 100 Watts. The maximum recommended altitude for controller operation is 2000 meters. The storage and working temperature ranges are -25 to 75 degrees Celsius and 20 to 50 degrees Celsius respectively. The approximate dimensions of the open controller enclosure are 51 x 36 x 14 inches.
