The 150-S361NBR controller from Allen-Bradley is an SMC-50 series motor controller. A total of 17 modes of operation are available on the controller, including the current limit start, coast to rest, pump stop, pump start, external bypass, emergency run, torque control, smart motor braking, and the dual ramp start. Three expansion ports are provided which can be used for the installation of optional modules, including I/O, communication and converter modules. Four serial DPI communication interfaces are provided on the controller as standard features. A total of ten optional modules can be ordered, including the Ethernet, dual Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, HVAC, and ProfiBus modules.
