The Allen-Bradley 150-F108FHD is a Solid-State Controller which belongs in the SMC-Flex Series. It is protected by an IP65 (Type 4/12) enclosure. This module’s control voltage is 100-240V AC (5-480 A units) and a controller rating of 108 A, 75 HP at 460V AC. It also has a voltage rating of 200-208V AC, 3-phase, at 50 and 60 Hz. It also eliminates the need for additional hardware like resistors, speed sensors, braking contractors, and timers. The function of the microprocessor-based braking system is to apply a braking current to a squirrel-cage motor. The strength of the braking current is also special because it is programmable by the users. This controller exhibits an accu-stop option which is used in applications which need controlled position stopping. The slow speed can be programmed for either high (15%) or low (7%) speed.
