The Allen-Bradley 150-F251NBDD SMC Flex controller has a variety of features, such as power wiring and control wiring for installation, a keypad and software for setup, 1 DPI port for connection to an optional human-machine interface, starting and stopping modes, protection and diagnostics, metering, alarm contact, status indication, and auxiliary contacts. For controller installation, the power wiring is done with a standard squirrel-cage induction motor or a Wye-Delta, 6-lead motor. The keypad for setup on the 150-F251NBDD controller possesses a front pad with a backlit LCD screen, and the software for setup has parameter values that can be downloaded to the SMC-Flex controller. The starting and stopping modes include the soft start, current limit start, dual ramp, full voltage, linear speed acceleration, preset slow speed, and the soft stop.
