The Allen-Bradley 150-F317NBD is a SMC Flex Smart Motor controller. This controller is a solid-state device, typically used in industrial applications. This device is more commonly referred to as a Soft-Starter by most plant personnel. It is paired to a 3-Phase motor to implement protective start-up and shutdown features as well as lower energy consumption.

An optional Bulletin 20-HMI LCD (Human-Module Interface) is offered as an alternative for programming purposes.
