The 150-F361NCR SMC-Flex Smart Motor Controller is a solid-state motor controller in the SMC-Flex Smart Motor Controllers series by Allen-Bradley that is used for providing a microprocessor-based controlled start for standard 3-phase squirrel cage induction motors and Wye-Delta motors. The 150-F361NCR has controller ratings of 361A and 300HP at 470V AC, with a rated AC input range of 200 to 575V AC, at 50/60Hz, and its short circuit rating is 30kA.  Its input voltage tolerance range is -15% to 10%, with a dielectric withstand of 2,200V AC, and it has an IEC rated insulation voltage of 500V. It has a control voltage of 24V AC/DC in an integral control module with 1600V circuit dielectric withstand, it provides DV/DT Protection using a snubber network. The 150-F361NCR features a front keypad with a 3-line by 16-character backlight LCD, which provides full parameter identification with clear and informative text for programming and control and it is also programmed using DPI connected modules with limited parameters.

The 150-F361NCR offers seven operational modes  (Soft start, Current limit start, Dual ramp, Full voltage, Linear spear acceleration, Preset slow speed, and Soft stop), and it provides protective features like power loss, line faults, voltage unbalance, phase reversal, under voltage, overvoltage, controller temperature, stall, jam, overload, and under load protection, and it has diagnostic LED lights which show the controller's status. It has four fully programmable auxiliary contacts configured for normal/up-to-speed/fault/alarm/network, and Software configured parameter can easily be downloaded via the DPI connected communication modules. The 150-F361NCR’s modular design makes installation and maintenance easy and its DPI communication interface allows for connection to multiple network types like the DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet, and the Remote I/O network, and it can withstand a 5.5G operational shock, with a 1G vibration. It has an open enclosure and a functional temperature range of 23 to 122°F, at 5 to 95% humidity, and its storage temperature range is -4 to 167°F. The 150-F361NCR weighs 45kg, with a volume of 600mm x 290mm x 276.5mm, and it has CE, UL, and C-Tick certifications.
