The 150-F5NBD unit is an Allen-Bradley’s product from the SMC-Flex product line. This is a Solid-State Controller, designed for use with the line-connected motors. With a rated voltage of 200 to 208 Volts AC, these controllers come in the open type enclosure. These devices deliver a maximum of 1 HP at the frequency of 60 Hertz. The control power of these drives ranges from 100 to 240 Volts AC for the 50 and 60 Hertz frequency. The line and the load terminals are provided as a standard feature with these controllers.

These devices may also be used with the delta-connected motors for the rated voltages of 400/415/460 Volts AC. The 150-F5NBD also work for braking as well as the pump control operations, beyond its standard operations. It provides microprocessor controlled starting for a standard three-phase squirrel-cage induction or a wye-delta motor. The features of this SMC Flex controller include its LCD Display, Built-in SCR Bypass/ Run Contactor, Metering, and DPI communication. The programming of this controller can be completed through its keypad system. Its Built-in Electronic Motor Overload Protection is also provided by these devices, along with its other optional, protective features, such as its voltage unbalance protection, under voltage protection, under load protection, and its stall and jam protection. In order to reduce surges during the starting and the stopping of this module’s centrifugal pump, the 150-F5NBD has a start and stop pump control feature. The braking control of this module is managed through its SMB Smart Motor Braking, Accu-Stop, and Slow Speed with Braking features.
